what do you guys things about a ELECTRIC SUPERCHARGER. do they do anything at all? are they good or what? they are dirt cheap, i find it hard to beleive

the electric super charger (leaf blower)will restrict the air flow at higher rpms

thanks, ill leave it alone then. maybe ill just add a few more decals on the V6 and think its faster. lol

if no one uses an electic "supercharger", and ive never even heard of someone making one...its safe to assume that its not a good idea, bc i doubt any of us around here can invent engineering marvels to change racing forever

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't Mazda puting an electric assisted turbo onto the RX8 to speed it up a bit.

http://rotarynews.com/?q=node/view/381 Sounds like they could be but only used at low rpm. As already said, too restrictive at high rpm. If Mazda is, I bet its a lot different from the dirt cheap ones you found. I'd steer clear.

I heard Mazda isn't putting an electric assisted turbo on but a hydrolic turbo of sorts. Just what I heard though.
