I am getting a g20 next month. Its a 2001 touring package. The only problem is that I have been researching their aftermarket section a lot lately, and I am not understanding it at all. What is a G20 compared to in the nissian market. Help me understand.

Hi ..welcome here.

I'd recommend that you spend about an hour and browse throught the categories here ..You'll learn plenty.

then ask questions. You'll find more answers this way.

Welcome to the G20 world should you decide to pick it up

Hi there and welcome.

Have a good read though the other forums here or check out Jason's site www.g20.net it's a good site..(I'll do your P.R work Jason:rolleyes:  )!!!!!...lol

The G20 is the same as the Primera sold in Japan etc so check out some of them as well for a idea or two.

Cheers

And, of course, www.sr20de.net has a lot of information, both on the site, and in the mailing list archives.

Go get your car and enjoy :)

hey whats up....

i suggest http://www.g20.net and read the FAQ section to get you up to par quickly... an Infinity G20 is known as a Nissan Primera outside of North America...

if you're looking for performance parts such as engine mods.. our cars have a SR20DE engine which is alson found in a few other Nissan cars... as someone said check our www.sr20de.net aka www.se-r.net

for some basic ideas on whats available for our cars... check out g20.net in the aftermarket section... although Jason is in the process of updating it....

also check out Stillen www.stillen.com

Congrats on the decision - however have you looked at the 2002's? I know they are offering killer deals on the 01's but you get a lot of goodies with the sport package in the new ones:
Bigger rims
Cool front grill
Two tone black/silver leather seats
Silver faced gauges
Stainless steel door rocker plates
Hot women ewwwing and awwwing as you drive by, ohhhh wait a sec, thats optional equipment :D

Just an idea - but either way you'll love your car, I've had mine a month now and I still go outside everyime and just go... DAMN what a nice car hehehehe...

The model in the Nissan lineup that corresponds to the G20 is the Nissan Primera.

The aftermarket for this vehicle differs depending on where you live. I'd say that the largest aftermarket for the car is in Japan.

If you stick around here for a while, you'll find out lots of info, as we seem to be learning something new almost every day.

About the only things you cannot get in North America is swaybars. I know of a vendor who wants to make them, but like many things, time is an issue.

Any engine items you may want would be the same as the SE-R with the exception of a cold air intake, but fortunately, those are available for the P10 and P11 already.

Adjustable dampers (shocks) and coilovers are already available. Energy Suspension will have bushings and engine mounts before long as I understand it (I'm sending them engine mounts).

Ahh, so that's you Kyle mentioned. Cool. I don't think my mounts are bad but the stock mounts are a little soft for auto-x. These are just the inserts right? Not the full mount. Or will they be making both?

I'm not sure exactly what they will produce. Same stuff as the SE-R I'd guess. I'm *way* tardy in getting them out. I have to send them to Ken Nord and I have to find his address.

actually swaybars are available for the P11 in the US, Stillen makes a rear swaybar, works pretty good....still understeers, but the car feels more balanced during corning...
just about everything else is available for the car too...just have to look a little bit harder to find them
