99 camry engine light

Just thought I'd ask anyone if they know why the engine light could be on...car drives well...timing belt already replaced...the day before the engine light came on, the light came on to replace the tail light. Could this be the reason due to the other light being on for a full day...don't know... haven't taken it in yet...guess I have to soon...just wanted to know what to expect...hopefully a minor problem. Does anyone know the minor reasons for engine light lighting up? Thanks

Go to autozone and have them read the code first, then after you find the code please tell us so we can help you. Without the code is really hard to give you any advice, but at the good news is that your car still drive well, so could be just a minor thing but still have them read the code...cause it could get worst later on.
