D15B2 rare?

I read in another thread that this is a rare motor. My 88 dx has one in it, wanting to know how common it is.

The d15b2 was the mid level motor for our cars, there was the d15b1 about 70ish hp, the d15b2 with about 92hp, and the d16a6 with about 106hp.
I think I got it right.....

NP, I now realize the hp stuff was unnecessary....
But you are correct, the d15b2 is a common engine.

the d15b2 is a dx engine, not rare at all every dx in the u.s. has one

yeah thats what I thought, just read someone state that it was rare and thought that sounded very off.

I've seen more of those engines than D15b1's and d16a6's. They are so damn common it's crazy.

common as house flies. I actually have two d15b2s sitting lifeless in my garage :lol: need to figure out what to do with them :/

hmmm i think you read it in another thread where bambam89lx i think said "it's rare to find a d15b2 in good condition" or somewhere down the lines of that
