Ok i got a short ram in a N/A and i was looking at picks the filter ends up being right behind one of the radiator fans so im like hmm. After i realize it when im driving all the heat coming from the radiator will get sucked in right in to my intake. Is that bad for the engine aspecially when the fan turns on it will blow all the radiator heat to my filter ? Is this bad should i just put a heat shield on or does it not really matter?

i dont think it will hurt it.. hasnt hurt my car and iv had a setup like that for 10k miles now. im sure we would be better off taking it down to the bottom of the nose for colder air but then we risk taking in water and what not so who knows.

wont really hurt anything really. just may decrease performace a tad...shouldnt be too drastic for an NA though. custom make a heat shield or something.

If your movin your fan shouldn't turn on anyways and if your at a stop it would probably be better to have the fan on instead of the hot air building in the engine bay. just my thoughts.....
