The remote is a keyless entry/security remote. (the honda factory remote)
once the factory radio is removed it doesn't werk so i guess the previous owner got rid of the remote--i got it werking again and need to re program a 1998 honda civic remote
to werk with my 1996 civic. If anyone can help please post a reply!!!

A civic is easy to program. It runs off the radio, so you must have the factory radio, else you need an aftermarket system.:sun:

I know this is an old thread, but could you or someone else repost the .jpg on programming these? It has been deleted.
