I've inherited an early 85 porsche 944 NA. About 130k miles. The engine seems to run very nicely, but it mildly vibrates the car at idle. It also will need a front seal soon. It has 4 new tires. The timing belt has been tensioned in the last 5k miles, however I have no clue as to when (if ever) the water pump was last replaced. AC is ice cold and steering is spectacular as with all 944s in good condition. The body needs a little work and a nice paint job is needed too.
I'd like some advice on where to start.
What do you think it'll cost for engine mounts and a front seal?
Also what kind of cash does a nice paint job cost?
Thanks.

Vibrations at idle usually mean bad motor mount. Is that a good start?

Here's your next step, checking.
Check the mounts for cracks or tears, they should be 2 3/8" long in the rubber area. If shorter, replace.
