must be a Tsi...front-wheel drive turbo. Its quick, but with the much miles on it, it MIGHT have some problems, but not some big ones. but seems like an ok deal.

for the price, go ahead. a valve job and belt replace could cost you about $2000 if they are bad. just need to be worried about the seals though. oh and the tranny. the belts too. can u say head gasket? maybe the cats gone....

Iv always liked DSMs and wanted something i can keep up with..be a project car with an engine that can take it. Iv looked at GS eclipses and they might be too much for me. But im still lookin'

Romain, My '95 AWD Talon is for sale. It is stock except for the awesome stereo, K&N filter and autostarter. $5500 with stock stereo, $6500 with current stereo.

Interested?

I got an email from the seller back and he sent me a list of what was wrong with it:

Car is in good condition, exterior - it has 2 small rust spots on front of hood, and mirrors need to be painted (black)
mechanically - engine runs good, has small oil leak in pan due to rust.
brakes - I would advise for new rotors all around due to accumulated rust. (I have replaced left rear recently)
Needs four wheel allignment to help improve tire wear. I have tried to take good care of it. Change oil every 3,000 mi, and
regular maintenance items (plugs, filters) I have replaced wheel bearings over last several years, and tires have decent amount of tread left.

Says its rock solid. What you guys think?

I think you need to go look at it before you buy it.

I would not buy a DSM with a known problem with the oil pan. A dented oil pan, or a rusted pan that loses oil can starve the crank bearings of oil and cause it to crankwalk on you. I don't see why his oil pan should rust in the first place...
