i got my cam and cam gear today. After putting it in and doing my break in my first Driving impression was Holy F^8K, i think i'm in love my car really scoots along now, but the bad news is that i was unable to put on the Skunk 2 gear do to the z6 pulley having the little alignment pin already on it as opposed to the skunk needing the one like the a6 (see also the pin for the crank pulley) i should be able to get that tommorrow though... but in the mean time i give her two thumbs up and one huge grin.
hmmmmm now that i think about it, i might have one up in my garage from my old a6 gonna have to go look :iceslolan

to put it in is nothing... its easy, you just have to use a torque wrench to bolt everything down and becarful not to over torque b/c those bolts will snap in a heartbeat... but basically, http://www.binghamtonlife.com/manual/2gsm/cylinder_head_valve_train.htm has all of the info you will need, it may vary slightly depending on which engine you have but for the most part its all the same

yeah def. its a very easy job, you just have to make sure you torque everything right and that you readjust your valves properly and do the break-in procedure
