Wipers don't stop.

I have a 92 k1500 w/ 185k mi. I have been having sporadic problems with my wipers, and washer fluid. Sometimes when i press the winshield washer switch, it works fine, and so do the wipers. Other times It does not work, but the wipers will turn on, but not off. They just keep on wiping sometimes for a few minutes. When they do turn off, they stop anywhere except for where they should ( at the bottom) :banghead: . If I turn off the truck and turn it back on they stay off. Any one got any ideas? - Joe

The problem is with the wiper motor circuit board. Call your dealer first with your VIN # It might still be on the safety related recall list. If not I think it's about $30.00 @ your local parts store-easy to replace.

Ditto on my 96, it was a free replacement because is was a safety recall.
