ignition cylinder replacement

Please Help... My 95 contour needs an ignition cylinder replacement. The ignition key gets stuck in the cylinder and won't come out very easily. How do you release the key cylinder to replace it? Thanks

There is a little pin on the bottom of the cylinder that needs to be pushed in with the switch in the ON position. There should be an access hole in the steering column cover. If not, remove the cover to gain access. Use a narrow screw driver or awl to push the pin.
