i plan on getting a 8000K HID conversion kit for my 02 accord coupe... there'z so many different brands out there i was wondering which is the best one to get and also if there is a big difference between 6000K and 8000K and how long the bulbs usually last (wether i'm better off just getting PIAA bulbs instead).... if someone could please fill me in on this it will be greatly appreciated.. thankz...

Well you are considering an HID conversion or getting PIAA's. Read this thread here.
http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=177538
In it the relationship between color temp (in degrees kelvin) and usable light output is explained, among other things.
The color temp/light output relationship will help you understand the tradeoffs, etc, you get when getting 8000K HID headlights versus 5000K. Also, PIAA Super Plasma lights are a dead ringer for HIDs, and will be cheaper than an HID conversion.
