There was a typhoon here so I "had to" stay home for 2 days doing models. :evillol:

This is a Calsonic Nissan Primera JTCC, but I won't use the decals since they are all yellowed. :disappoin

Interior is only half done because I ran out of white paint. :banghead:

First time applying a decal on a complex surface. It is not perfect but I am pretty happy with the result.

Who has interior pictures of this car? I can't find any.

Nope. JGTC is JGTC, JTCC was JTCC. Two seperate championships. Your statement would be like saying DTM is actually ALMS, clearly not the case.

It's actually my understanding that when decals yellow, they are still usable. I assume it's the the clear film, and not the actualy white pigment that has yellowed? I think it's actually the carrier chemical that yellow. Test a decal, try one of the little ones on the bottom of the sheet where Tamiya write the model it belongs to and all. If it sits clear on the model, good to go. If not, back to plan one.

Japanese Touring Car Championships (JTCC), competing under FIA Class-II race regulations standardized for normally aspirated 2 liter 4-door sedan automobiles.

Try leaving the yellowed decals out in the sun for a bit.

carlisimo, the decals were left under the sun for almost 2 weeks and the yellowing is disappearing, but still not good enough.

This is another of my decal practice models.
Only painted the body and applied a CF decal to the hood since last update. Job and weather is interfering with my modeling. :(

Sorry guys, no updates yet.
I had to re-apply the CF decal because I damaged it when I was polishing the paint. :banghead:
I am trying to build a rear diffuser, but it is harder than expected.:uhoh:
I am still in search of decals that goes well with the subject which is "Top Secret". The project will be on hold until I find something suitable. :uhoh:
