i have a 92 explorer xlt with an automatic transmission, and im interested in doing some burnouts. any tips and or tricks would be helpfull seeing as how i am unsure of how to approach it and dont want to screw anything up experimenting.

Put it in neutral, floor the gas pedal, drop it in drive, pray nothing breaks.

are you some kind of a fool. its a truck! it doesnt have enough power and it is too heavy to do burnouts. and if you manage to do one you will break something. go buy a mustang. explorer is not for that.

Well said, but I prefer my tactful, tongue-in-cheek approach...

its easy all you have to do is drop a v8, supercharger, and a manual tranny and you will be all set for some burnouts. the supercharger might not be needed but it helps

first off is this a 4X4 if it is the there is a good chance that you might have T.O.D (Traction On Demand) if this is the case then you will never do "burn outs" your best be is to use your buddies car for that.

Find a nice sturdy concrete wall, nose up to it gently, hop out and dowse your tires with bottle of bleach, hop back in and let 'er rip.

Don't forget to letus know what happens.

Makes more sense, but do it somewhere you don't have to clean up the mess and NO you can't do it at my house.
