RSX Wheels fit the Prelude?

I purchased 4 new RSX - S Wheels for 200 and installed them on my 98 lude. It looks like the front rims are against the brakes but no sound is being made (like metal on metal rubbing) but I do feel some resistance. Should I get washers or spacers? Or are they on too tight?

do you mean the center of the rim and the center of the brakes? b/c they're supposed to. that's how the brakes slow down the wheels; the need to be attatched.

It could be a bad offset for the preludes. Just a guess though.

not the center of the brakes but the brake itself...the thing that holds the brake pads.

oh ok, i see what you mean. you'd REALLY know it, if that was rubbing. if you think it might me rubbing just a hair, feel the inside of the wheel spokes for damage, and perhaps see if you can freely slide paper or a thin piece of paper through the gap. if so, you'll be ok. remember, that gap never changes, so if it ain't rubbing, it never will.

the paper does go through smoothly...just that little gap will be fine?

yup. it will never touch. do make sure there's no damage to the back of the wheels spokes/mags (whatever). but like i said, you'd REALLY notice that. if you're able to, post pics. i'd like to see it with those rims. i'm sure they look nice.
