A dual 4 ohm can be wired down to 2 ohm or 8 ohm, and a dual 2 ohm can be wired to 1 ohm or 4 ohm. Use it to pick an amp that suits the sub well - e.g. if you have a 2 channel amp that can be bridged to 4 ohms, you will want the dual 2 ohm so you can get the most out of your amp. Go to www.bcae1.com and read everything there.

Sorry about that...
You might need to upgrade your alternator for that amp... since it is a class A/B and pulls a crap load of power according to its rating... I could be wrong though.

HAHA... HA... Alternators give power, caps take power. that is as simple as I can put it.

Those are batteries... which will help a good deal to get a deep cycle vs. a stock battery, but a class a/b amp that is trying to pull anything over 1500watts is a huge deterimet on your electrical system... it is also a high current amplifier if I remember which means it pulls a butt load of power from your alternator...

im pretty sure i won't pull over 1500 watts. The subs are 600 rms each so 1200 max. But i checked out that site and ford wasn't on the list for alternators.

Yeah, give em an email. I am sure they have one for ford. My jeep wasn't on there. I emailed them

Look up a BatCap800 instead of spending all your money on a new alternator. Unless you are throwing tons of power at your car, you can usually solve the problem by getting a batcap or a new dry cell batter
