Hey i got a header for my 96 gs 420a and heres the problemo. The new header has the screw in hole for the sensor but also has a second protruding hole that you could i guess twist something onto.. does anyone know what im suppose to screw on to this thing cuz i didnt unscrew anything off the stock header except that one censor thx

Dude, read the whole post before saying something like that!!!! If he were to put it on the car, that would act as the worlds biggest exhaust leak! I don't know what that second hole is for, but if there is nothing at all that goes in there, just weld it shut.

OMG, you must re-read the hole thread, please, if you could just do that, please. He has two holes, which from what i see, is that the company accidentally made 2 holes for the o2 sensor, by accident. Unless, if you bought it used, the previous owner might have made a hold, to screw in a sensor, so he could put in a exhaust temp gauge, thats a big possiblity. But, you don't want it there, just grind it down flush with the pipe, and weld it shut.

oh, okay, disregard what i said, i thought by "plug it up", you ment by pluging up the sensor, not the extra hole, my bad.

omg i know plug up the extra one and put it on you still need the hole for the o2 sensor right? thats what im saying. He can plug it it verse grinding and doing all that work. i do agree maybe the owner previouse owner put it there for a temp gage. peace

WTF lol that is odd. Are you sure that is for a 2g NT. Where is the flange on the bottom or am i just not seeing it?

yeah its for a 2g.. its not the best quality and imma end up having to weld the down pipe to it. it doesnt have a standard flange for the downpipe to hook too, the downpipe that came with it slides over the end then there are two bolts that tighten it together but i think its gonna leak like a waterbed in a gun store so im prolly gone make it and the downpipe one piece via welding. i was pretty sure that second hookup was bogus and i was just gonna have it shaved down nd pluged up like you all said but i wanted to make sure theres nothing i could be plugging into there first lol.. thx guys..

I think those headers are made for one of those dual wire split o2 sensor's but im not sure i think i saw something like that on somebody elses car dont remember.
