air intake

I'm looking at getting an air intake for my 99 GS. Should I go with short ram or cold air and which brand performs the best?

The brand does not mean shit. Cold air is better

be careful that the intake filter doesnt hang too low to the ground (unless you get a by-pass valve)...you could scoop up a lot or grit and even water.

bypass valves reduce the performace gains of a CAI too much IMO

i agree, but its better than scooping up water straight into the tb. better to install short ram.
