Getting some money(what should i do)

Im getting about $550 next month and i was wondering what everyone else would do with this. Would you buy a new motor b/c the one i have is a piece or would you put speakers and a cd player in it. Or just find something else to do.

i say do what makes you happy. if the motors bad and doesnt run well at all i would think about repalcing it. if it runs fine and all you have is a crappy stock deck or what not i would think about getting new stereo stuff.

hell, i would even think about getting a good looking set of rims if you dont have that.

what mods do you already have? that would help

right now all i have is a intake everything else is pretty much stock......not to mention i have my bros acura radio with his door speakers too lol....but yeah my mototr runs decent but not the best and it burns a ton of oil....id really like everything but i dont have a job right now so im screwed...thanks for your opinions though

I feel your pain man. I went for a whole year without a job when I first got my Civic. Best thing to do is spend you money wisely on stuff you need, not stuff that is useless. Motor might be something to consider.

well you could do the headswap for that, but your not going to get a nice sterio for that price. ... I'm also going overkill my sterio though. 4 pioneer dvc 10's (MSRP 150 each), two 1500w Hifonics amps (MSRP 900 each), two Blaupunkt 300w amps (MSRP 280 each), two blaupnkt 7" component sets w/ crossovers (MSRP 200 each), JVC head unit (350 MSRP) .... not to mention wiring, custom box fiberglass box i'm building, amp rack, dynamat. Shit adds up quick... granted I'm not paying msrp for most of it.

well i wasnt really talkin about a full out system but just a head unit and speakers for the doors and back deck....ohh and i would do a head swap but its the fact my bottom end isnt worth a shit so it wouldnt help too much. thanks though

err I ment motor swap not just head swap

just to let you know you will be over your budget if you are doing a head swap, trust me I'm doing one right now..

all the sites I looked at have them for around $450-$500 then you need all the gaskets-head gasket 30-50$ valve cover $40 intake and exaust $10-20 each-vtec controller $150-250, then you should have it checked out by a machine shop...well you get the idea....
