I love it. You've developped such a good sketch procedure. You have such great shapes, nothing conventional (good thing). You always draw that 3/4 dogview though?!!?! Try taking the same design, and drawing from multiple angles. I'm curious to see how you do. As for the design, very creative, but I'm not sure about the window-to-tail section. Seems rather bland and uninteresting.

I'm not digging the PS rendering. I've honestly never been a fan of rendering with that program. I just feel learning how to render by hand is very important as well. Introducing yourself to markers, pastels, Canson etc. are all skills that you probably will need to know sooner or later.

This is mostly my opinion though, I never have really like PS renders as a whole. I'm racist :D

Good work, nonetheless.

I like your sketeches better than your renders, you seem to cover up all the nice details of the cars with your ps renders.

gams, your stuff is always very innovative. and different. this is often why many don't like it.

you could do film design. just a thought.

people do have a point about your pshop renders: you tend to lay on the color heavily and it covers up your nice hand-drawing. maybe you like that. but it would be nice to see some of the original emotion and style of the drawing come through.

and you got to draw from another angle, dude. seriously. you keep giving the same angle over and over and over and over again. we get the point. jeez. can you draw any other angle? break out of your safe zone with views.

i love the front side stuff on this design, btw. this is one of the most out-on-a-limb designs you've done. you are getting bolder. and that is great.

with p-shop, as i am learning that, too (and now use it for paying jobs), it does take time to handle the digital materials. like anything else.

i just noticed the A-pillar is a sliver or a 'horn.' that is way cool. love that.

the weakest part is the rear. maybe make it beefier. or keep this version and do another version. like this version is the "invader GL." now make the sport sedan "invader GTS."

I'm not really liking the design but the rendering is good.

Hey Gamsz,

In PS put your color layers on top and try a layer property like color (if the sketch is filled with white under it...a lot like Al's Stang from last week), or try multiply.

I know multiply tends to get real dark real fast so after you do that go and do a image-adjust-hue/saturation. Click the colorize box and then slide to your hearts content.

You can find a nice balance that will allow you to have the color as rich as you like, but also preserve your fluid pencil work.

Looks very good...just chippin in.

p.s. Another sweet spot is image - adjust - variations. I won't describe it. Just duplicate your color layer and try it. Remember to merge linked layers hit ctrl + e.

Looks very cool, im not sure if i like the design but it looks very good. Also the rear chrome heavy duty looking rims dont go too well with this Hybrid/NGV looking car.
