cold air intake instructions

01 civic, i just got a cold air intake system but no directions. its got two silver pipes, two rubber tubes (maybe 2in in diameter 3in long) a long skinney tube and a bunch of hose clamps, and a little rubber thing with a metal thing threw it... help me!

The rubber tubes are couplers; one connects a tube to the throttle body on the intake manifold and the other connects that pipe to the other pipe. You'll need to use 2 hose clamps on each coupler. I'm guessing the long skinny tube connects from the top pipe to the valve cover (i'd have to see a pic to know for sure what you mean by long skinny tube but that should be what it is). And I have no idea what you mean by "little rubber thing with metal thing threw it", post pics if you can.

do you know what its supposed to look like? if you do then ur in the green, the tube is a vacuum line, then there is another hole in ur piping for an 02 sensor blah blah blah the tube goes in the rubber tubes and then the hose clamps seal it up good

thanks guys but i just took it apart n figured it out on my own i was bored... but it works good. i didnt use the rubber thing, it waas like a inch of rubber with a threaded little bar thing threw it... it didnt fit perfectly but i made it work.
