The claims adjuster came out to look at my now totaled MR2. He did not know what the car was and did not know how much to give me for the damage. What would be the value of a 91 MR2 N/A, i was thinking it would be around 4-5 grand, but im afraid that the insurance company is gonna try to low ball me. The blue book value said around 4-5 grand but, cause of the cars rareity, i wonder if they'll factor in street value. Does anyone know a the rough value of the car cause, i dont want to be screwed over. Thanks

Well for the 91 NA, 4-5 grand is what you're going to get even with "street value."
It's the turbos that can get numbers noticeably higher than the stated blue book value.

3.5-6 for an n/a...depending on options, color, condition and mileage...
if the insurance company tries to give you any less than 4.5 then fight it...they are supposed to be on your side...make sure they know that there will be consequences up to and including a lawsuit if they don't get their shit together.
look around your area on autotrader.com...whatever it will cost to replace it is what they should give you...not the amount some site like kbb or edmunds that rarely knows what they are talking about when it comes to psuedo-exotic cars like the mr2, 240sx, rx7 and the like.
good luck!

"NA" is short for Naturally-aspirated. (hp is not attained by any form of forced induction/ 'nonturbo')

second gen mr2's have an easier autoX if they are N/A, and are very dominant in that class.

i'm not sure if i'm right so correct me if i'm wrong but i think turbo does screw up your engine if you push your car too hard. i think this only happens if you have aftermarket turbo, not the factory ones.
