Finally got round to finishing this one.
Paint is Tamiya M56 Purple Metallic & VW Brilliant Orange.
Wheels are Pegasus chrome T's with Pegasus aluminium sleeves on the rear. MCG grill & Scale Auto Style brakes.
As it's a slammer I took a few liberties with the suspension to get it to sit as I wanted it to (basically metal rod axles).

Hello ,
Sometimes my car starts off in high gear then after a few minuites revets back to normal.
Did a scan as engine light came on . Changed shift solenoid according to code readings and tranny oil
Drove good for one week then the problem came back .
Could someone help me.
God Bless

buttyscott,
This is a model car building forum. We probably can't help you with your Camry transmission issues. I would suggest taking it to a pro. Most backyards just end up wasting tons of $$$ trying to diagnose/fix their own problems.
Good luck, Kurz.

:smokin: Smokin' Willys you have there. Great color scheme too. No problem with the "liberties" you took on the chassis, because it has the look!!! BTW, what is Tamiya M56 Purple Metallic?

Is either the front or rear brakes (I think the front) on backwards? I think the drills are suppose to spiral in the same direction. Either way, Awesome build! Another great one from AJ-MW.

Great color combination. I can't find any of this kit here in Malaysia. Like to get my hand on one of those. The Revell distributor here just bring in all the old models here (in 'old' I didn't mean classic, 'old' as in the decals is all yellow and faded... :screwy: ) I have to pre-order from them when I buy my Ferrari Transporter truck. :grinno:

Very nice!!!!
Your "In progress" pics of this car actually inspired the `37 I am working on right now that I will hopefully be able to post soon.
It`s cool to see all these muscle cars and hot rods lately.

Thanks for the comments guys
675 Datsun - I used BMF for the chrome trim
Mike U & Marc - the paint code is actually MS-6 - my apologies
JeFF - I completely missed that one of the disk brakes got flipped - I'll have to be more careful in the future !
Cheers

I used automotive acrylic grey primer & clear and didn't get any reaction so seems to be ok on plastic.
