Cefiro Maxima puzzle

Hows it going in the maxima room? in my past i have been doing some studies about nissan cefiros, to me those cars seem pretty awesome in my eyes but almost unheard of in the states.

about the maxima the car looks alot like the cefiro interior as well as exterior in parts but it (the maxima) is only fwd and almost has no engine selections available.

on the internet i havent seen much cefiros for sale so if i wanted to get a cefiro would i have to use some maxima parts to legalize it?? how about the insurance? (which is probably the best way) :smile:

how about this in my past i noticed that those junkyard maximas look complicated to take apart.........since i dont know about working at a body shop i am not trying to be funny just wondering if its possible or too much work . lets say if i get the maxima (dont know which one to use) and the cefiro (a31) to get major surgery done on them. lets say i try to get the maxima to being rwd on its body then somehow getting a cefiro front clip installed next to the car could it be done? cause i notice the cefiros front clip is capable of keeping an sr20det or skyline engine in the car.

these are just different questions on my mind :smile:
any info corrections or help would be appreciated

Cerfiros are The Japanese maxima or I30. Thats the reason you don't see many in the states. It would be too expensive to Import one then make it legal. The First Generation Maxima IS RWD. Making a Maxima of any other year RWD would just be way too expensive. I'd say get a max or, if you want RWD with a relativly easy sr20 swap, Get a 240.

You can get the left hand drive Nissan cefiro (A31) from Taiwan ,so it legal and no modification needed .
