Well I posted on here a few weeks ago about my 89 crx si, stolen without a trace. ITs been so long now, I guess im out of the honda scene. Just got a new ride today, VW Golf, 4 Door, Red, 5 Speed, 2.0 liter. It aint bad, considering its free I guess. Well I guess this is just about it, about to delete all my honda favorites and forum things so this is it. Goodbye, wish you all well.

Hmmm yah but the thing is, im out of the whole scene. My family, we dont buy used cars ever, unless its a classic old car thats in 100% mint condition. Everybody thought I was crazy for buying a honda that was over 10 years old. We usually get new cars every 3 years so I dont think im going to do anything to this Golf. IF anything just a decent system if I can get a new radio in it, new wheels maybe, and possibly a kit. Its not rice to me, theres no point for me to hook it up engine wise, its not the 1.8t so im not worried about it. Just lookin for somethin to cruise in, thats it.

Ok then get the hell out we dont want to see you anymore
Just Playin we will all miss you if you go just go buy another crx or civic and make it a project car. If theres no motor in they cant steal it that easy.

If I'v learned anything over the years, dont pay attention to your family. You'll be so much happyer without them.

sorry about your car getting stolen :( life is a big ugly bitch sometime. But the tuning bug might bite you again later with your VW you never know. I know afew years back when my car got wrecked into during a snow storm I lost all interest in fixing up cars because I'de just lost all my work that went into that one...then I got my new accord I with the insurance money, and I just didn't have the motivation or desire to do anything with it or even wash it really..then after afew months of owning it I was back into dumping all my money and time into it, lol. But that was just me not trying to tell you what to do or anything of that sort. Anyways I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say we wish you better luck.

civics are too easy to steal. fuel pump cutoff switches are definatly recomended, hide it under your seat or somewhere and just flip it every time you get out of the car. might steal your shit but cant steel the car if it wont start :)

Yeah, don't leave just cause you feel out of the honda tuner scene. I bet things will pop in your head on what to do to that VW. And besides, VW's are sweet ass cars. T

I dont have a problem with that my car starts whenever the fuck it wants to. Even though i replaced the main relay (fixed for 2 weeks and it started doin it again).

Alright so this is what im thinking about doing... Its bright red, im thinking about getting these http://www.wheelsnext.com/prod_imgs/img-1547-small.jpg then dropping it pretty low. Replacing the headlights with the black ones, then replace the tail lights with the blackend ones. Maybe a Carbon fiber hood, maybe not, and tint the windows black. Im going to have to look into engine work, as I dont know a single thing about this engine yet, but a little research n i'll figure out what I wanna do soo thats bout it.

how much did it run you??? im thinking about buying me a golf as well. What kinda options were available if any? What was the price jump to the 1.8T engine. Anything else price related that might be interesting to know since im looking to buy one myself.

It costed $13k. I got it right off the lot. Basically the only thing they had, kinda wish had it in diesel but not worried about it now. Golfs come nice stock though without all those crazy options, you can do alot to them, option wise. I got the 4 door, cuz theres really no point for the 2 door, its the same size, just less convienance.

If you're look'n to modify the diesel, its gonna be really expensive and its hard work. Just food 4 thought ;)

They usually cost between 18-23g's. I'd rather spend another grand or 2 to get the Vr6.

no no, if i DID get the diesel i wouldnt even mess with it. they didnt have anymore diesel on the lot... the more i look at it, the better I like it. I just wish I got it in black instead of red. oh well, looks like a mini cooper kinda, and im fond of those cars a bit.
