how much is a 300zx tt engine

how much does the tt engine cost incase i buy a tt with high milleage and does anyone know the times for an at 300zx tt

hmm....TT engine...i have seen prices from $600 to $2250 and thats if without labor charges if you cant do it yourself. automatic TT has approximately the same times as the 5 speed, ranging from high 13's to low 14's in the 1/4 mile. 5.2 to 5.5ish from 0-60mph.

Been there done that take your time find a low millage z and either rebuild it or buy another engine and build the motor weather stock or better trust me you'll hate ureself for buying a used vg30dett

You know, I really think there just might not be a single Z32TT around anymore with stock airbox.



And yeah...unless its a really low miles. really clean used VG, keep looking. No sense having engine problems after you spend all the time and money on pulling and upgrading it.

thats not true the car im picking up is bone stock my replacement Z a black 95tt with 42k miles all options and accesories included..

damn that accident looked bad. i had a bad one also, luckily i survived to tell the story, i should post some pics of it. Most people here have already heard me say this, but ill tell u what happened, my friend was driving my car and hit a u-haul truck at 110 mph head on. none of the tires were touching the ground, the hood was ripped off and crumpled up, the rooft was ripped off, basically everything was gone excpet the cockpit. Ive got to post the pics, its bad.
The weird thing was all i had was a cut to my head, I HAD NO BRUISES OR PAIN! That was the weird part.

oh yeah, the 300zx is a very safe car, its designed for the engine to take the blunt force of the accident while the cockpit stays intact.
I wouldnt have wanted another 300zx if i didnt feel safe in it!

why arent my guage lights and console lights crystal blue like that? mine have mroe of a hint of bluish green. is any one elses like that or is just mine?

mine looks like a whiteish/yellowish color.

mine arent yellow but like they look just white and then they have a very faint bluish-greenish color that shines through a little bit.

Thats just the filter on the cam that make it look blue. But I did actually change out the dash bulbs just never got arround to taking pics. Quite simple I might say.

Actually, I wouldn't, mostly because I'm not that nice. But also because alot of Zs would get wrecked that way.

Anyway...I just think that the Z32 should have been opened up a bit more from the factory...I know they do it for durablity and insurance and whatnot but damn...just a little more...but thats me...
