85 Honda Accord starting problems

My 85 Honda Accord (52,000 miles) wouldn't start this morning. It cranked up but then puttered off. I tried starting again and got same result. This evening I went out and it cranked right up. Read on another site that it could be related to fuel pump. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
