I have a 1996 Burb with the 5.7 in it. Are there any companies that sell an kit for a rebiuld or entire engine to replace it with? I'm looking for something with more hp and torque for pulling and want to stay with the 350 or a stroker 383. I have found lots of stuff for older engines, but not EFI or computer controlled. Can it be done?

Summit Auto Parts does and I was going to do it but mine is a '94 so there are to many things that would have to be changed. Yours being a '96 has EFI Port Tuned I believe so you can get a Cam and Lifters for around $79. They have intake, heads and exhaust headers that are an exact swap out. You can also do a cat back & chip.
