'01 Silverado - Adding temp/compass to overhead console?

Anyone know if its possible to add the factory (or an aftermarket that looks just as good) to a '01 Silverado that has the rest of the overhead console (sunglass holder, garage door, map lights) already there?

Is it pre-wired or would I have to find a junker/visit eBay for all the components?

And lastly, does the factory overhead include MPG gauge?

I don´t know if the harness already has the connector already there, if it does you're all set but if not, you can tap into the map lights for power, you would probably need an independent switch to turn it off or else you would drain the battery. Good Luck
