I've often wondered how long I could follow a cop on patrol before he noticed and did something about it. I don't think that there's technically anything illegal about it... anyone ever tried this?
yes, its true. me= :loser:

I've tailed a cop with sirens blaring and disco lights on for about 8-10 km down the motorway once. Quickest I ever got home from uni at 4 PM :p Usually if theyre going in a hurry somewhere they don't give a shit if you catch their tail wind
However doing it to cop on patrol is not the smartest thing to do, you're highly likely to get pulled over, your car checked over with a fine tooth comb and then you will probably will be ticketed on some minor thing because the cop will be pissed off at you for wasting his time.

It would be worth it, in my opinion, just for a laugh. As an alternative to the gangster look, you could dress in a Hamburglar costume....black and white striped jumpsuit with the raccoon mask. Better still...try to pull HIM over while wearing a British bobby uniform. If only cops had a sense of humor...

Actually, they probably do, but they just can't do anything about it because the call they were going to takes priority over what you're doing. Just be sure to not be behind them when they get to the call and there's already a cop there. :uhoh:

What if there isn't anything to ticket you for? :p

ill follow the local deputy sheriffs when they are out on the highway and dont have their lights on..most times they will get up around 70 or 80 mph. and from what ive gotten from my cop buddy they cant break the speed limit unless they have the lights on and as of right now i havent gotten in trouble for it ..they usually slow down a little but not much..
