im new to this forum and could yall help me pls. I have a 98 ford mustang v6 what all could i do to mod this car. And howbad does it suck if it does could yall pls help me it woudl much apprecited bc my best friend has chevy s10 with a 4.3 in it and i want to kno wat i could do to make my faster than his. O and its an auto. Thank you

Do what I did to my 95 GT.
Performance Chip, Pulleys, and K&N Filter. I can feel the difference (probably gained a good 20hp) and I actually get better mileage

Gears, pullies, exhaust, and cai are a great start!
yo man - that's like the only start! :smile: gears will get you going faster than anything else and exhaust might make you look like a poser if you go strait for that although the rewards are typically pretty good (mpg, sound, performance) . cai is cheap and easy with not a huge payoff. you can get rear end gears for cheap on ebay or at the ol' junk yard. having them installed is a tad more expencive. look to spend 250 on that if you are lucky. pullies will free up some hp for sure and they are cheap, but it isn't anything spectacular.
p.s. i've got some 3.26 8.8s that came off of a car after 15000 miles if anyone wants them. i went with 3.55s instead.
