I have had my mr2 for 2 whole days now, and got rear ended and pushed into an intersection. Luckily the turning lanes stoped and did not hit me. My exhaust, trunk, bumper, and 2 rear fenders are jacked. My back 2 tires now rub and have not seen my car since the accident since i had to be rushed to the hospital cause of a head injury. They towed my car and the tow guy thinks its totaled. I definetely know that all the damage is fixable and hope they dont total my car out. Does anyone have any suggestions to convince the adjuster to just give me the money to get it fixed!!! Also the car is a 91 with 135,000 miles on it, so its old but has low miles. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated so i can get my baby back on the road and hopfully keep it.

Hmm... to convince the insurance guy of giving you money to fix it... that's a tough one... maybe beg? For 2500 you could just buy a rear clip, chop off the backend of your car, and weld on the clip? :D

Beg....i'll be doing alot of that, because i went to go look at the car this morning and the rear quarter panels are crinkled and the trunk is smashed shut, rear spoiler in 5 different pieces, and dont even know yet if the engine was damaged, i think it was considering it died 3 times to just get it out of the road. the car is definetely totaled. do you know where i can get a rear clip, or maybe find another MR2. Any help right now would be great as far as getting another mr2, cause there so rare im having trouble locating another one.
