alright i have a 93 hb with 154k on it. i really want a new engine because thats a lot mofokin miles. i really dont want to spend over a grand on the engine. the swap itself will cost nothing. just the engine. i was thinking about a ca18det, or finding a newer ka. what would you do?

find a Ka24DE with low miles or a CA18DET wouldn't be a bad option, your kind of limited with a thousand bucks though, you gonna have to find a hell of a deal on a CA, then it will probably have some problems, then you gotta pay the usual 400 for shipping.... then any other parts to make swap work(there will be something you need to buy besides motor for sure)


I would get a low mileage KA24 and then turbo it later on down the road, or just turbo it now and see how long the almighty KA goes... then buy another low mileage one LOL

i think i will stick with the ka24 because it will be real easy if its the same engine, but i think im gonna get the engine first, then the turbo, lol

yea do another KA it would be hard to find a good CA for that price
