The No sleep Challenge 2002

A friend and I have a bet on to see who can remain awake the longest. We both live together, so We'll both know if the other sleeps. got any suggestions on staying awake? (ESPECIALLY you guys in the late night crew or whatever! :))

right now I'm at a pithy 22 hours....

How about (and I'm not suggesting this from personal experience) No-Doz, black coffee, a couple of pornos, some Vasaline, the family dog/cat.... Well, you get the picture!:D :D

Something that wont help your flatmate as well, ie cant see how a porno will help, could actually make it worse

just keep busy, move around alot, and keep your mind active. thats why those people that stay here all night can stay up, cause they're constantly reading and responding to things. the more active your brain is the less likely that you'll fall asleep. and lots of caffine always helps too.

Black Coffee and AF is all you need :D

What are you at now?

Well, We started this at about 3:30 Tuesday afternoon. We both woke up about that time- we've been awake ever since...I think that makes about...30 hours? does that sound about right? I'm a walking Zombie right now...:bloated: :bloated: :bloated:

same idea as when I am driving a long time, talk to yourself. or sing along with music. but never shut your mouth and you will stay awake. I fall asleep at the drop of a hat so this works well if it can keep me awake.

just get some caffeine pills

A jump into a cool shower will also help every so often. :)

Tape you eyelids open:). But play whatever games you enjoy (on the computer or game system). Normally i want to crash around this time, but if i am up reading about car mods i wanna do, or playing a game where you run around shooting people i can stay awake much longer.

but yeah, drink tea, coke and keep moving/doing stuff.

Stay away from crt monitors they will make your eyes tired, LCDs are cool though cause they dont fliker. think about stuff, I burn cds all night long. dont overdue the caffine or pills it will over hyperyourself and when your done youll be cracked out. Try eating it helps also, also try streaking. it should keep you on your toes, just run outside butt naked and run around the block :) you wont be sleepy.

1 camera (for all the action afterwards)


try and see who can drink 1 gallon of milk the fastest in under 1 hour

sound easy...............? u r mistaken.....make sure to have the camera handy cuz there are going to be tons of kodak moments

I've seen somebody do the milk thing once... but the rest threw up all over the place

i did the milk thing once, its pretty intense, and we had some good snapshots of the aftermath if u know what i mean :)


we used the milk carton of the winner to make a trophy :)
