Where is the stupid PVC valve???

I own a '94 Ranger Splash with a 2.3L engine, standard transmission. I can NOT find the PVC value and don't want to start tearing things apart trying to find it. Does anybody know where it is located? The owner's manual does not pinpoint it's location.

BTW, this truck has 180,000 miles and going strong. Check engine light keeps coming on and off, but the codes are useless for this year of vehicle. No problem, truck runs great with light on or off. I just want to change the PVC valve because it probably needs changed anyway. Already put new timing belt and plugs in it recently. Engine light is probably oxygen sensor.

the valve is between plug #1 and #2 on the intake side, but lower down. There's a large vacuum line leading to it.

it should be right off of the valve cover...

Oops! I was thinking of the wrong year. It's in the back, behind your throttle body and EGR valve, at the top.

oh yeah, FYI, it's the PCV valve not PVC (like the pipe) valve
stands for Positive Crank-case Ventilation valve

it just plugs into the valve cover

this is correct for my 99 2.5L engine.
