A/C Problem

On my 99 Sonoma 2.2L, the air conditioner blows out the vents all the time. No matter if I have the defrost or floor selected, it comes out of the front vents. I was told that it is most likely a vacuum hose that is disconected. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I might fix this, or whether it would be behind the dash or in the engine bay?
