I Have a question

I want to super charge my escort but it is automatic will that screw up something. i want to check before i put it on. Better safe then sorry. I was thinking of making it manual but i don't know. Thanks for the help. I know it is a stupid question , but i would like to know.thanks!!! :confused:

lol why would automatic screw anything up? if you want full power output to the wheels, then automatic screwed that up. but otherwise go for it, i woud love to see how you setup your car to be supercharged! serious!

I wouldn't supercharge an Escort with a automatic... the trannys aren't very strong, but I guess if you don't abuse it out of the hole then you will prob. be ok. The 1.9L escort stick shifts are pretty quick considering what it is .... as long as you don't have the A/C on, LOL.

There are no available superchargers for the Escort, it would need to be all custom and exspensive. There are parts available to turbo charge. Turbo's make power more efficient any ways.

custom tack on toyotas supercharger haha. itll take too much work, i suggest you go n/a tune first. in fact, n/a wil giv you insane ammount of power to play with already....... dont always gota force feed the motor!
