Hello There

Looking for info and stumbled accross the fine forum. Nice to be here.

Can anybody tell me the function of the three fuel lines that run from then tank to the filler spout. The three pipes, about 8mm diameter, go into a little manifold next to the filler, one of them via a small filter at the rear chassis.
I'm replacing the fuel tank and this manifold crumbled when I moved the old tank connections. I was wondering if there was any way I could bypass or DIY this manifold but I need to know its makeup.

Cheers, see ya around the threads.

hi jeff here.. i just bought the gasoline filler tube as my 94 mx3 1.6L had rusted in this area and was leaking gas right at thou's 3 lines. the part was $173.00 canadian.the parts person at the dealership could not tell me shit about how these 3 lines work or if i could save my money by by-passing them.the filler tube was fine on my car but the lines that run beside the the filler tube were leaking gas due to rust..the filler tube and all 3 lines that seem to get capped off are all welded together. your best to buy this part as all the cars in the scrap yard seem to rust out in this area. hope i helped... bye for now... jeff
