I recently changed from stock wheels and tires on a 2003 Mustang GT convertible to 18x9's and 265/35/18's all around. I would like to close the gap in the wheel-well, and have been told that I should lower the car to improve the appearance. I am not looking for improved performance so much as I am to have the car look better. I really don't want the ride to deteriorate too much because of lowering the car, but I don't understand if I need lowering springs, new struts, caster & camber plates, etc., etc., What exactly do I need to achieve this improved appearance???? I need some advice from someone out there that understands this stuff......I need your help!!!!!

Steeda makes a good set of spring that lowers the car 1 to 1 1/4 inches. They know their stuff!
Sport Springs
• Sport Springs lower the car 1” to 11/4”
• Big improvement in handling and looks
• Maintains good ride quality
• High quality steel wire rides better than
other brands with similar spring rates
for 209 dollers
www.steeda.com (http://www.steeda.com) click suspension then steeda custom springs. U would have to get your caster and camber adjusted that i know of u dont need caster and camber plates either those are for racing so u can tune ur caster/camber for better handling charteristcs.
Guys if any of this is wrong plz correct me. O i also recomend urethane bushings.

Thanks "Ghost96Gt". I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions. Can you tell me if the bushings are automatically replaced when you install lowering springs? And why do you recommend urethane? Do you know if putting Steeda Sport Springs on my car will void any part of the Ford Manufacturer's warranty? My car is still under 3/36 warranty, and would like to know if I should use a Ford product like a lowering kit from Ford Racing to keep the warranty valid?? I am so full of questions about my Mustang, and sincerely want to learn, so please keep the information and opinions coming. Thanks again!
