No, it's not.. and only because more info for your car is needed. If you're car is VTEC or and "ex" like mine, OEM exhaust came with a different dual tip muffler, usually a little bit more expensive then the LX,DX... that's the $114. If you have a LX or DX probably going to be around $91. The only other thing you will need would be to replace the gasket between the resonator and the new pipe about $5. Tools needed:
Liquid Wrench
12mm socket and wrench
14mm socket and wrench
30minutes tops
Make life a little easier spray the hangers with liquid wrench too and they will come out of the rubber hangers alot easier. When you reinstall it, I put some mulitpurpose grease on the hangers to make them slip in real easy. Goto a Napa and just ask them and make sure you tell them what trim your car is to get the right thing. Easy as pie!.....

go to a muffler shop, they can just change that part with a straight pipe, usually for around 70 bucks.

i was told i couldn't replace it with a straight pipe, that it would cause things to break. isn't the resonator pipe there to make sure that the exhaust system has sufficient flex?
god i'd love to have it replaced with something easier to maintain. anyone else know if this is ok?
