What's up guys

i have 50k miles on my lude now and my brakes are making that annoying squeeky noise; begging me to replace them.

I was just wondering where I can get genuine Honda OEM brake pads. They've done their job pretty damn well considering i've had them for 50,000 miles. I've decided to just get those again. I didnt' want to go to the dealer cause I know they'll charage me an arm and a leg for just brake pads. Does Pep Boys carry them? or maybe Kragen?

Im no brake expert, or an expert on anything for that matter.....but, i was a parts sales manager at auto zone for 10 months and i learned that just because the pads last a long time definately does NOT mean they are great pads. The harder the pad, the longer they can last and harder they are on your rotor. Plus the softer pad gets better stopping power. Check out your local parts store and check out what they have in performance pads. Just about any of them will offer a good performance pad and at auto zone, all but two brands had lifetime warranties. No, this doesnt mean they are going to last a lifetime, we replaced them every time they wore out, free of charge! I did it all day every day. Its worth checking into.

ummm.. takes a day or 2 to process order and they ship 2 day air UPS as the standard service so its usually 3-4 business days from ordering to your door

I should say that the OEM Honda brake pads are the best and only things you should really use. Aggressive pads such as AEM will always squeak, and cheaper knockoff pads leave an unhealthy amount of residue on the rotors. Any local Honda dealer should be able to get you a set.
