COil or not to COil

Got full coil overs for my b-day and h&R springs. what do you put on the springs or would you go with the true coils? and what do you do with the one you don't use?

well it depends which one you need.
If you need to raise and lower your car a lot, keep the coilovers, if your ok with keeping it at a lower height then keep the springs. Whatever you decide not to keep you should sell.

It would help if you mentioned what coilovers you have.

they are made by Koni

Koni doesn't make coil springs, please find out who these are made by.

I've sold some of my old springs that were only a couple of months old for about half of their retail price. If the springs are older then that then you will probably end up just shit-canning them or giving them away to a cheap friend.

But anyway, I bit confused about the rest of the question here. You're saying you have a coil over kit which includes Koni shocks, and springs or no? And a seperate set of H&R lowering springs and you are not sure which to use. Is that the question?

the system has koni yellows with neuspeed springs. My question is this, I got the full coil over system for my birthday. I also got H&R lowering springs, two seperate things. This means I can lower my car two ways, either with coils or just with the h&R springs, which would be better?

So are you saying that the Neuspeed/Koni combo is height adjustable? Or that you can only use the Neuspeed springs with the Koni shocks?

What the hell kind of question is this?? You finally explain that you have one high end setup and one simple set of springs, and you are asking US which to go for? There's a reason the springs cost $200 and the coilover setup costs around $1000 (again, is it height adjustable, I know what a coilover setup is but 95% of the people in this world don't, and they are not necessarily adjustable in any way), what sort of difficult decision is this? I suppose if you are primarily interested in peformance (what you want these for has also yet to be mentioned) there's nothing that needs to be said, clearly the high end coilover setup is going to work better than just springs on shitty stock shocks (again, if that's what you have, you never mentioned what your current suspension consists of). On the other hand, this is all just guesswork because you have done everything EXCEPT clearly explain yourself and your desires for the suspension mods.
