need help on my 86.5 supra ... please

just bought this supra ( for 500) had no tranny (non turbo)( automatic )bought a jdm tranny . then went out driving to far places with out a tune-up or changing any fluids .then one day the car was shifting kinda crazy or it would gear and then lose gear ( this is my first car ) please help me .

ANY IDEAS TO START OFF FIXING MY SUPRA KID :)

what should i clean and buy to replace the old stuff ??????

any powerful intake systems out there for my ??????(horse power) gains?????

Alright, it looks to me like your sludgebox (automatic) is on its way out, shifting in and out of gears when its warmed up and lots of slipping. Changing the fluid or filter won't help it at all if it hasn't been changed regularly or in a long time, infact it will make the problem worse. What I'd suggest is either looking into getting a low milage autobox and replacing what you have now or better yet doing a manual swap and eliminating the problem all together. Of coarse the manual swap will cost more but well worth it IMO. As for the filter, there are tons of generic ones on ebay all the time, for your money of for the time being your best just getting a drop in K&N to put into the stock airbox, there isn't much power to be gained from an n/a (225-230ish with I/H/E assuming the engine is in tip-top shape which it isn't after 17 years) so don't waste your time or money doing it, if you want real power then start saving up for a Turbo swap.
