didnt pay ticket now what?

Hi, i got a parking ticket and i didnt pay it. I was going through a rough time financialy and couldnt afford to pay it. However i am wondering what is going to happen now. I was supposed to pay it by july 29th, its no the 21st of august and i havnt gotten a word about it.

However i do have a court date Sept 14 for another ticket for no front plate. There probaly going to bring it up then right?

they probably issued a warrant for you by now, so definitely expect some trouble at court. if you can, call up the PD and get it paid before 9-14 and hopefully they won't give you any crap.

It varies from state to state. For instance in California, They might place a hold on your car registration or slap whatever you owed on your parking ticket to your registration when it's time to renew it. I highly doubt you'll get a warrant for a parking ticket. But your best bet is to call your DMV and possibly the agency who issued you the parking ticket and try to take care of it ASAP!

yeh im realy getting worried, i was going through a rough time and i just couldnt pay it, i do have the money now but it turns out that my friend tore up a feild and abandoned a car i gave him. I got a notice in the mail about owing 550$ for what he did, he wont pay up either. I dont make alot of money so this stuff a pain in the ass. I want to get everything out of the way.

You have to go to court just because not having a front lisence plate.That sucks, you should of just gotten a "fix it ticket". I have never heard of having to go to court for something like that.

It sux that cops/govt peeps dont have to have front lic plates but if we dont have 1 we get ticket??!!! (my brother got one too). I can see how they do that to try to save us money by lowering taxes (????) but then they should realize that it would also be cheaper for us to just have 1 plate....??
