Replace drive belt

Pretty much what the subject says. How do i do this in a 97 Grand AM with the 3100 in it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

it is very difficult to replace the belt because you will need to lift the engin and remove the motor mount to get the belt off and get the new one on. Also you need to lift the belt tensioner so that you can get the belt loose enough to remove it from the pullies. I have heard taht a good way to lift the engine is to put a block of wood on top of a hydralic lift and place it underneath teh oil pan and lift very carefully. if you do this it is very important to use a block of wood between the pan and the lift or else you will crack the oil pan. I was going to attempt this myself on my 94 3.1L but it was actually better to take it to a mechanic, i only got charged 1.5 hours of labor and i bought the belt for just under 30 bucks, so for less than 100 bucks total you can probably get a belt and have somebody to put it on for you
