Rear sway bar install

Ok, I've done a ton of research, about installing a rear sway bar into my 98 lx. I don't need or want a 22 mm because it will rip out my sub frame. And I seen the beaks kit and I don't think its a big deal. I've seen a picture in my search with a subframe torn out with the beaks kit attached. However i like the comptech kit, but it cost to much. The smallest size I found was the 19mm. Alot of people have the 19mm on there car, so i was just wondering if thats an ok size , like will I have to worry about tearing out my subframe. My suspension consists of RED shocks, and arospeed coilovers, and its a daily driver.
If the 19mm can cause damage then I was thinking of putting in the Si 13mm bar, But then again, I,m thinking maybe that will be too small. Will i feel the difference???? As you can see i don't wanna do nothing major, but yet something noticeable.
I don't wanna sound cheap, but over the winter I swapped in JDM 2nd Gen B16a into my LX, bought a VIS carbon fiber hood, and got my rims refiished, becasue of curb damage. So i kind of spend alot of money in the past 8 months, and i just want something that will help with cornering (becasue I love taking corners at high speeds),but not cause major damage in the long run.

19mm comes standard on the 1999-2000 Civic Si so you should be fine.
I just installed my Comptech sway bar/tie bar last week - it's nice :)
But if you want something that will make cornering better remember your car corners and brakes only as good as the tires you run on. Run on crappy tires and you get crappy cornering and braking.

You either have to be a complete moron or on very sticky tires to tear the subframe. Any time a large rear bar is installed use a lower rear tie, upper won't really matter as far as frame damage goes.

Well, I heard people tear there subframe out by going up a drivway at an angle, like when one wheel goes in the air. Some guy said he was pulling into a parking lot and pulled in at an angle so that he doesn't ruin his body kit, instead he tore his subframe. And what about springs, soft springs can cause damage too. I guess stiffer springs would be better, but as of right now I just have the coilovers, with 17's. And 99-00 civic Si's come with 13mm stock not 19mm.
So 19mm bars are fine for everywhere daily driving! Thanks for the info!

I was gonna say as well, the Si comes factory installed with a 13mm rear swaybar, and a 26mm front.
Integra GSR comes with a 14mm and for some reason, the Del Sol VTEC comes with a 15mm rear swaybar.
I have a 22mm Integra Type-R rear swaybar, and a Beak's kit holding it on and I haven't yet had any problems. I angle up driveways since my car is lowered on a set of Tein coilovers, and sometimes a wheel will come off the ground and into thr air, and still yet that hasn't done anything to my subframe. I remember hearing why tearout can still happen with a Beak's kit, but it had something to do with using too high of a spring rate, or maybe it's putting the bar on not stiff enough springs. It was one of those two. But if everything is setup right, then it shouldn't be an issue if a reinforcement kit is used. All in all it's mainly a metter of regularly checking up on your subframe and making sure all is copasetic down there. I check and clean mine up pretty regularly.

Ok cool, One last question. Do you need to drill anything when installing an ST sway bar. All the other companies have straight bolt on kits, but I heard that there is drilling involved with the ST. Is it true or not?
