Power Window Cable?

97 Accord 2 door. The power window motor on the driver side sounds as if it functioning, however, the window will not respond (i.e. it falls on it's own and needs to be raised manually. Removed the panel and it looks as if there is a cable that has way to much slack on it. What is this metal cable, and how can it be threaded or fed back the way it's suppose to be?

How does one fix a loose window cable ?.I have the same problem with my back window, when I took the back door pannel off, I notice the cable has slipped off the pully. the thin wire cable is now loose and dangles freely. I believe this is what helps move the window up and down. Is there a diagram to look figure out how the cable would be re-threaded ?
