P285/70/R17 - will they fit on '04 Crew Cab?

Just today picked up my first new truck in 16 years, a Silverado 1500 Z71 Crew Cab. Stock wheels are Bridgestone P265/70/R17. I'd like to put the largest tires I can on the truck without doing any modifications. Will P285s fit? I have only a few days to make a decision, else I'm driving with the stock P265s.

Any help would be appreciated. I just joined this forum today - and have done some searches but can't definitively find an answer. Thanks!

they should fit just fine with the truck being a 4wd. will look good also with a fuller wheelwell. i run 285's on mine with no scrubbing what so ever.
