Misfiring at stoplights

Sometimes when I am at a stoplight I start to feel my car misfiring. I dont know what it could be, but does anyone have any clues?

Replace your plug wires. The orginals have a problem with the #2 spark plug wire arcing to the engine. The orginals would say ACDelco or Packard Electric on them. Swap out with a new set of wires and while your at it, if you have high miles, get some new plugs. But stick with ACDelco on the plugs, you are wasting money if you buy anything else! Other than that, fuel filter, air filter, and PCV valve. You might even try switching where you buy gas from. -Chris

If the plugs and wires don't cure this check your throttle position sensor.

My #2 plug was arc'ing on my 97 cav. At least I think it was #2, it was a big prolem. Expecially while acellerating fast and going up hills in a higher gear.
