i have a problem, when ever i turn my wheel while im not moving, there is a klunking noise from the passenger side strut, so i took it to the dealer to see if the $2200 warrenty would cover it. ha that was a bad idea, that was "the only part of the suspention that is not covered" so ne way they said it was the left strut bearing. has anyone ever replaced these? is it hard to do, have any advice, or directions for that matter, what parts will i need to get also.
thanks ryan

It should be easy to get the parts as you should only need a new strut bearing. They should be available at an auto retailer. To replace this you will need to remove the strut. The bearing sits on top of the strut and can be easily changed by properly compressing the strut, remove the nut and release the compressor. The bearing is right on top of the strut. Simply replace it with a new one, reassemble in reverse, reinstall and you are back in business. You may want to have the alignment checked it may be out due to new bearing. Good Luck!

The dealer should be able to provide it for you should cost about $50. They will probably call it a strut mount. If you strike out there check the local wrecking yard for an entire strut assembly. That may be a cheaper way to go.
